전남도에 따르면 2월 말 중동 사태 이후 지난 4월 2일 기준, 농업용 면세유 가격은 유종별로 16.9~27.4% 상승했다. 농협 계통 무기질 비료 가격 또한 전년 대비 6.0~8.8% 인상됐으며, 특히 나프타 수급 영향을 받는 농업용 필름은 30~40% 가량 가격이 폭등해 본격적인 농번기를 앞둔 농가의 시름이 깊어지고 있다.

이에 전남도는 지난 4일과 5일, 장성 황룡농협 농자재센터와 국내 최대 비료 생산 시설인 여수 남해화학을 잇달아 방문해 현장 점검을 실시했다.
