양영우 단장(56·경대 8기)은 충북 청주 출신으로 청주 신흥고와 경찰대 법학과를 졸업하고 1992년 경위로 임용됐다. 경기북부경찰청 동두천경찰서장, 서울경찰청 종암경찰서장, 충북경찰청 생활안전부장, 대구경찰청 공공안전부장, 대통령경호처 경찰관리관 등을 거쳤다.
