광양경자청은 4일 오후 3시 청사에서 ‘제2차 광양만권경제자유구역(GFEZ) 발전계획 수립 연구용역’ 중간보고회를 개최한다고 밝혔다. 이번 연구용역은 산업통상자원부의 ‘제3차 경제자유구역 기본계획’을 바탕으로 광양만권의 지역적 특성과 여건에 맞춘 차세대 성장 전략을 수립하기 위해 추진된다.

이날 보고회에는 광양경자청을 비롯해 전남광주통합특별시, 경상남도, 여수·순천·광양시, 하동군 등 관할 지자체 및 용역 수행기관 관계자들이 대거 참석해 그간의 연구 성과를 점검하고 향후 비전을 논의한다.
