이번 간담회는 지난 7월 1일 열린 ‘동부권 경제인 간담회’에서 다뤄진 석유화학산업 현장 전문성 강화의 일환으로 마련됐다. 글로벌 공급망 재편과 탄소중립 흐름에 적극 대응하고, 사업 재편 승인을 받은 여수 국가산업단지의 고도화 및 체질 개선을 위한 현장 밀착형 정책을 발굴하는 데 초점을 맞췄다.
