이날 행사에는 정일선 광주은행장을 비롯해 고광완 광주광역시 행정부시장, 세계적인 미디어아티스트 이이남 작가, 그리고 공모전 수상자들이 참석해 자리를 빛냈다.

올해로 9회째를 맞이한 ‘광주화루 공모전’은 지역과 나이 제한 없이 한국화의 미래를 이끌 인재를 발굴하는 권위 있는 대회다. 올해는 역대 최다인 160여 명의 작가가 지원하며 뜨거운 관심을 입증했다.
