(목포=브레이크뉴스) 이학수 기자= 전남 목포시가 전국의 신인 및 기성문인을 대상으로 ‘제14회 목포문학상’ 작품을공모한다.

목포문학상은 김우진, 박화성, 차범석, 김현 등 한국 문학을 이끌어온 선구 문학인들을 배출한 문향(文鄕) 목포의 문학정신을 계승하기 위해 지난 2009년 시작으로 올해로 14회째를 맞는다.

본상은 거주제한이 없으며, 남도작가상은 공고일 현재 주민등록상 주소지가전라남도이면 누구나 참여 가능하다. 남도작가상은 목포에 관한 다양한 문학작품이 창작될 수 있도록 목포의 자연,역사, 문화, 인물, 해양 등의 정서가잘 드러난 작품을 공모 소재로 제한했다.

본상은 단편소설, 시(시조)·희곡·문학평론 분야에 각 1천만원의 상금을 수여한다. 남도작가상은 단편소설·시(시조)분야에 500만원의, 수필·아동문학분야에 300만원의 상금을 각각 수여한다.

응모작은 미발표 순수 창작품이어야 하고 작품 접수는 8월 1일부터 30일까지 우편으로만 가능하다. 이어 9월 27일 당선작을 발표하고, 10월 중 시상식을 개최하는 한편 작품집도 발간한다.
