전남교육청은 영산강의 생태 탐구, 환경보호 실천을 통한 생태시민 육성을 목표로, 지난해 처음 ‘2023 공생의 물길 영·산·강 프로젝트’를 추진해 학생동아리 155팀 1,404명의 참여를 이끌었다.

이 프로젝트는 학생들이 주도해 지역 환경 생태계 살리기에 힘쓰는 활동으로, 교육 현장은 물론 지역사회의 큰 호응을 받은 바 있다.
