이번 호 특집은 5월 29일부터 6월 2일까지 전남 여수세계박람회장에서 펼쳐지는‘2024 대한민국 글로컬 미래교육박람회’의 풍성한 프로그램을 네 가지 열쇳말로 엮어 낸 기사다. ▲ 지역과 세계와 만남 ▲ 미래수업 ▲ 예술의 향연 ▲ 참여와 교류를 열쇳말로 삼아 주요 프로그램과 주목할 만한 관람 요소들을 한눈에 살펴볼 수 있게 구성했다.

매달 주목할 만한 교육현장을 소개하는 ‘함께꿈’ 코너에는 글로컬 박람회 주제가를 만든 목포석현초 임우균 교사의 인터뷰와 레고 세계대회에 진출하는 여수 지역 학생 동아리 ‘소소한 친구들’의 이야기가 실렸다.

에듀테크를 활용한 교육으로 지난해 교육부장관 표창을 받은 임우균 교사는 AI 시대 에듀테크에 대한 생각과 실제 교실에서 교육적 성과가 있었던 AI 활용 수업을 소개한다.

‘소소한 친구들’은 지역 특색을 담은 아이디어로 2023-2024 First Lego League 세계대회 출전권을 따낸 팀이다. 소식지는 대회 출전기와 세계대회 준비 현장을 취재, 기사로 담았다.
