(무안=브레이크뉴스) 이학수 기자=전남도교육청은 교육 기부자 및 기관‧단체가 자긍심을 가지고, 교육 기부에 활발히 참여할 수 있도록 ‘전남교육 기부 인증제’ 및 ‘전남교육 명예의 전당’을 시행한다.

전남교육 기부 인증제는 창의적 인재양성을 위한 사회 환원 및 나눔 문화 정착에 앞장서는 기업, 대학, 공공기관 등을 발굴해 교육 기부 우수기관으로 인증하는 제도다. 매년 상‧하반기 두 차례 실시하며 인증기간은 3년이다. 이후에는 심사를 거쳐 효력을 갱신할 수 있다.

현재 12개의 인증기관이 운영되고 있으며, 각 기관에는 홍보에 적극 활용할 수 있도록 전남교육청 명의의 ‘교육 기부 인증패’를 지급하고, 우수 교육 기부 프로그램 활성화 지원 등 혜택을 부여한다.

전남교육 명예의 전당은 교육 기부를 통해 전남교육 발전에 이바지한 기관·단체 및 개인 등을 발굴하고, 그 명예를 선양하기 위해 지난 2014년부터 ‘전남교육 명예의 전당’을 건립·헌액하고 있다. 매년 연말에 실시하며, 현재까지 교육 기부 분야 헌액자는 기관·단체 부문 5개소, 개인 부문 4명이다.
