어린이과학체험공간은 습지생태계의 중요성과 기후변화 대응을 실천하는 VR 체험, 기후캐스터 체험과 지진, 화산, 주상절리 생성 등 오감 체험 공간 등 다양한 놀이 체험 및 탐구 공간 조성으로 어린이 눈높이에 맞는 놀이형 과학 체험 공간으로 구성했다.
