2023년 전남지역 인증 실적은 1만 4천176농가로 전남 전체 농가의 9.7%, 전국 인증 농가의 11%를 차지하는 규모다. 올해는 목표량을 늘려 1만 4천680농가까지 확대할 계획이다.

간담회에서는 시군별 사업 추진계획 공유, 농산물우수관리제도 인증 현황 및 향후 방향 논의, 농산물우수관리제도 인증 지원 방안 등을 논의했다.

박호 전남도 농식품유통과장은 “안전한 먹거리 공급을 위해선 농산물우수관리제도 정착이 필수”라며 “지역 농가의 적극적인 인증 참여를 지원해 앞으로 농산물우수관리제도 인증이 확대되도록 예산 확보 등에 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
