(무안=브레이크뉴스) 이학수 기자=전남도교육청과 민주평화통일자문회의 전남지역회의는 12일 전남교육청 비즈니스실에서 미래세대의 평화통일 감수성 함양을 위한 업무 협약을 체결했다.

이번 협약에 따라 두 기관은 전남 청소년들이 바람직한 통일관을 갖춰, 통일에 대한 건강한 생각을 가지고 실천하는 ‘통일 리더’로 성장할 수 있도록 힘을 모으기로 했다.

두 기관은 △ 전남 청소년의 통일문화 관심 제고를 위한 사업 △ 교육과정과 연계한 통일 교육 프로그램 운영 등에 긴밀히 협력할 계획이다.

김대중 교육감은 “이번 협약을 계기로 미래세대들이 통일에 대한 바른 인식을 갖출 수 있도록 다양하고 의미 있는 평화통일교육 기회가 확대되기를 기대한다.”고 말했다.

한편 전남교육청은 평화통일 정신 계승과 올바른 통일 가치관 형성을 위해 오는 10월 ‘사제동행 DMZ 체험형 통일교육’ 프로그램을 운영할 계획이다.
