(무안=브레이크뉴스) 이학수 기자=전남도는 오는 5월 제53회 전국소년체전과 제18회 전국장애학생체전의 안전하고 성공적인 개최를 위해 4월까지 도내 실내경기장 44개소에 대해 시설물 안전점검(사진)을 중점 실시한다고 밝혔다.

이번 점검은 전문성 확보와 내실화를 위해 전남도소방본부, 시군 소방서, 한국전기안전공사, 한국승강기안전공단, 한국가스안전공사 등 유관기관과 건축 구조, 시공, 토목 분야 민간전문가들이 대거 참여한다.

점검 대상은 전국장애학생체전의 개회식이 열리는 목포실내체육관을 비롯해 도내 실내체육관 중 노후 정도를 고려한 표본을 선정하고, 우선순위를 정해 점검을 진행할 예정이다.

중점 점검사항은 ▲경기장 구조물의 손상 여부 ▲소방설비 설치 및 작동상태 ▲누전차단기 정상작동 여부, 전선 노출 여부 ▲가스용기·배관 상태, 가스누출 여부 ▲승강기 운행 상태, 도어 안전장치 작동 여부 등이다.

전남도는 시설점검 결과 즉시 조치가 가능한 사항은 현장에서 시정하고, 가벼운 결함이나 위험 요인 발견 시 해당 시군과 함께 신속하게 보수보강 조치를 할 방침이다.

또 이번 점검에선 경기장 내 장애인 전용 화장실, 경기장 바닥 점자블록, 엘리베이터 관리상황 역시 꼼꼼하게 살펴 예상되는 관람객 불편사항을 사전에 조치할 계획이다.

앞서 전남도는 1일까지 2일간 양대 체전의 주 개최지인 목포지역 10개 경기장을 사전 점검했다. 점검 결과 최근 문제가 제기된 실내수영장에 대해서는 소년체전 경기에 지장이 없도록 신속한 시설 정상화를 요청했으며, 타 경기장은 대체로 양호한 것으로 조사됐다. 이번 점검과 별도로 목포 지역 경기장도 민관합동점검을 통해 더욱 꼼꼼히 살필 방침이다.
