이번에 대거 입국한 베트남 관광객은 올해 전남도, 전남관광재단, 무안국제공항 인바운드 전문여행사인 에이앤드티(A&T)가 협약을 통해 베트남 전세기를 유치, 주요 도시인 하노이, 호치민, 다낭 등에서 관광객을 모집해 이뤄진 것이다.

이들은 신안 퍼플섬, 보성 대한다원 녹차밭, 순천 낙안읍성, 순천만국제정원박람회, 순천 드라마촬영장 등 전남도에서 추천한 주요 관광지를 방문하고, 나주와 광양, 여수 등에서 숙박해 전남 관광의 매력을 즐겼다.
