(광주=브레이크뉴스) 이학수 기자= 광주광역시는 전라도 정도 천년을 기념해 중건 중인 ‘희경루(喜慶樓)’의 상량 고유제를 23일 광주공원에서 개최했다.

상량 고유제는 이용섭 시장, 김용집 시의회 의장, 김병내 남구청장, 관련 단체, 공사 관계자 등이 참석한 가운데 상량 묵서 행사를 시작으로, 상량축원, 상량문 봉안(奉安)으로 진행됐다.

희경루 중건 상량식은 고유제 형식으로 진행됐다. 상량(上梁)은 전통건축물의 가구(架構)에서 최상부의 부재인 종도리를 올려놓는 공정으로 건물 골격이 완성된다는 의미다. 수주상량(竪柱上樑) 또는 입주상량(立柱上梁)으로 기둥을 세우고 상량하는 것은 전통 건축의 시작과 마무리로 중요한 의미를 지니고 있다.
