(무안=브레이크뉴스) 이학수 기자= 전라남도는 올해로 11번째 무료로 운영하는 ‘최수종과 함께하는 전남연기캠프’를 오는 7월 26일부터 31일까지 순천 저전나눔터에서 진행한다고 밝혔다.

전남도와 전남도교육청이 주최하고, 사단법인 전남영상위원회가 주관하는 전남연기캠프는 영상 제작, 연극, 뮤지컬 등에 관심있는 중·고생을 대상으로 연기·영상 관련 잠재 재능과 역량을 키우기 위한 것이다.

지난 10년간 연기캠프 참가자는 500여 명에 이르고, 상당수가 관련학과 진학 및 영상미디어 업계에서 활동 중이다. 특히 지난해 연기캠프에 참여한 10여 명은 올 하반기 한 공중파 방송에서 방영할 ‘커튼콜’에 보조출연 하기도 하는 등 명실공히 엔터테이너 육성의 요람으로 자리매김하고 있다.

특히 국민배우 최수종(전남영상위원회 운영위원장)이 특강을 하고, 영상 현장에서 활동 중인 배우, 감독, 가수 등이 연기캠프 강사로 참여하는 등 수준 높은 캠프를 운영하고 있다.

이번 연기캠프에서는 ‘길’이라는 주제로 참여자가 주체가 돼 단편영화, 뮤지컬, 연극 작품을 직접 만드는 실습 과정으로 진행한다. 마지막 날에는 학부모와 영상산업 관계자 등을 초청해 발표회도 할 계획이다.
