‘말년의 양식_김기찬 도자기 전’은 (사)남도전통문화연구소가 주관한다.

김기찬 작가는 보성을 중심으로 소중한 전통 문화유산을 전승해 오고 있으며, 이번 전시를 통해 장인정신으로 빚어낸 소중한 작품을 선보인다.

전시를 기획한 (사)남도전통문화연구소 대표 한광석 씨는 “이번 김기찬 작가의 도자기 전은 이 시대를 살아온 장인들이 다음 세대를 위해 어떤 일을 해야 하는지에 관한 연구와 고민을 담고 있다.”면서 “완성된 작품을 관람하며 그의 생각에 공감하는 시간이 되기를 기대한다.”고 말했다.

김철우 보성군수는 “이 시대를 살아가는 모든 분들의 지친 마음을 위로하고 잠시나마 쉬어가는 시간이 될 수 있기를 바란다.”고 전했다.
