(광주=브레이크뉴스) 이학수 기자= 광주광역시가 부실공사 척결을 위한 종합대책 마련에 박차를 가하고 있다.

광주시는 16일 시청에서 이용섭 시장 주재로 ‘부실공사 척결 종합대책 마련 TF’ 제4차 회의를 개최하고 종합대책에 담을 내용을 논의했다.

특히 이용섭 시장은 TF 회의에 직접 참석해 종합대책 마련 상황을 점검한 뒤 더욱 강력하고 실천적이며 지속 가능한 방안들을 담아줄 것을 주문했다.

이날 회의에는 국토안전관리원 호남지사 최재원 부장, 송원대학교 방재안전토목학과 정상국 교수, ㈜디아이지엔지니어링건축사사무소 김하경 이사, ㈜리우기술 양은열 사장 등이 참석한 가운데 부실공사 척결 방안, 안전문화 개선 방안, 건설안전 제도개선 등 그동안 세 차례의 회의에서 도출된 방안에 대해 활발한 논의가 이뤄졌다.

특히 중대재해처벌법 시행에 따른 전담조직 신설, 부실공사 척결을 위한 현장 점검 강화에 대해 다양한 의견이 개진됐으며 안전문화 확산 및 정착을 위한 구체적 방안과 제도개선 사항 등에 대한 검토도 이뤄졌다.

광주시는 다음주 중 최종 TF 회의를 개최해 종합대책을 확정한 뒤 발표할 계획이다.

이용섭 광주시장은 “이번 아파트 붕괴와 같은 건설 현장의 후진국형 사고가 더 이상 재발해서는 안된다”면서 “강력한 예방책 및 처벌, 관련 법·제도의 정비, 안전문화 정착 등을 통해 광주에서부터 부실공사의 뿌리를 뽑아내 올해를 건설안전의 원년으로 만들겠다”고 말했다.
