(무안=브레이크뉴스) 이학수 기자= 전라남도교육청이 올해 세 자녀 이상 가정의 초·중·고 학생 교육비 지원 사업을 확대·시행하기로 했다.

전남도교육청은 지난해 말 전남도의회를 통과한 2022년 전라남도교육비특별회계 본예산에 다자녀 가정 학생 교육비 지원 사업비 104억 원을 확보했다.

전남교육청은 이를 바탕으로 올해부터 세 자녀 이상 가정의 초·중학생(3만 9,000여 명)에게 1인당 10만 원 씩의 신학기 준비물구입비를 지원할 예정이다. 또, 고교생 체험학습비는 지원 대상을 4자녀 이상에서 3자녀 이상으로 확대하고,중학생 체험학습비, 고교생 신학기 준비물 구입비 및 기숙사운영비 등은 전년과 동일하게 지원한다.

특히, 전남교육청의 다자녀가정 교육비 지원 예산액은 전국 시·도교육청 중 최대 규모로, 세 자녀가 초·중·고 재학생인 경우 가구 당 평균 60만 원의 지원이 예상된다. 또한, 세 자녀 이상 가정에 해당하는 학생 모두가 혜택을 받을 수 있어 셋째 이후 자녀부터 지원하는 타 시·도교육청에 비해 폭 넓은 지원으로 평가되고 있다.
