(구례=브레이크뉴스) 이학수 기자= 전남 구례군는 임해년 새해는 코로나19에 따른 변화된 관광생태계에 빠르게 적응할 수 있는 미래 관광개발 구현과 함께 구례읍․섬진강․화엄사․지리산온천 4대 권역을 중심으로 관광인프라를 체계적으로 구축하겠다고 밝혔다.

문체부에서는 지난해 12월 제4차 관광개발 기본계획을 확정 발표하고 미래관광개발 구현을 위한 6대 추진전략 17대 중점추진과제를 도출했다.

기본계획은 ‘사람과 지역이 동반성장하는 상생 관광’, ‘질적 발전을 추구하는 지능형(스마트)혁신관광’, ‘미래세대와 공존하는 지속가능 관광’을 목표로 설정했다.

구례군은 새해에 정부정책과 연동이 될 수 있는 스마트관광생태 조성을 위한 다양한 관광정책을 추진한다.

문체부 공모사업으로 선정된 특구지역 활성화 사업을 통해 특구지역 내 실감형 VR영상 콘텐츠 및 산수유 시목지와 산수유문화관에 실감형 콘텐츠를 제작 설치한다.

전남도 공모사업을 통해 관광자원 메타버스 콘텐츠 구축과 주요관지 AR콘텐츠를 제작하고, 지리산권 시군과 연계된 스마트관광 콘텐츠도 개발할 계획이다.

4대 권역별 관광인프라 확충사업은 구례읍, 섬진강, 화엄사, 지리산온천 권역을 중심으로 추진한다. 구례읍 권역에는 통합어울림센터와 웰니스 복합센터 조성을 통한 정주여건 개선을, 섬진강권역에는 4개 시군이 함께하는 섬진강통합관광벨트 사업과 스카이바이크, 스카이서퍼 등 이색적인 레저시설 도입을 추진한다.

화엄사권역은 화엄사블루투어 프로젝트와 반달가슴곰 보금자리 조성사업을 추진하고, 지리산온천권역은 짚라인과 모노레일을 개장하고 2단계사업도 추진할 계획이다.
