(무안=브레이크뉴스) 이학수 기자= 전라남도교육청 산하 직업계 고등학교 29명이 지난해 12월 29일 발표된 국가직 지역인재 9급 선발시험에서 최종 합격했다.

이번 선발시험에서는 전국 316명이 최종 합격했으며, 경쟁률은 3.5대 1이었다. 이중 전남 직업계고 출신은 17교, 8개 분야(행정, 세무, 관세, 기계, 건축, 화공, 농업, 임업), 29명이 합격했다.

국가직 지역인재 선발시험은 지역사회의 균형 발전과 공직의 다양성을 높이고, 고졸 출신의 공직 진출을 확대하기 위해 매년 시행된다.

전남 직업계고는 지난 2021년 이들 국가직(인사혁신처) 29명을 포함해 전남도청 31명, 전남교육청 16명, 신안군청 4명, 서울특별시청 1명, 광주광역시청 1명, 경남도청 1명 등 총 83명의 공무원을 배출했다.

또한 육군 20명, 해군 32명, 공군 2명 등 총 54명의 부사관을 배출했고, 대기업(한국전력공사, 한국도로공사, 공무원연금공단, 코레일, 삼성전자, GS칼텍스, LG화학, 포스코, 한화솔루션 등)에도 다수의 합격자를 냈다.

이러한 성과는 전남의 직업계고에서 공무원대비반, 공기업반, 부사관반, 모의면접대비반 등의 프로그램을 운영하고, 전라남도교육청은 공무원 면접대비 취업캠프 등을 통해 고졸 취업을 꾸준히 지원한 결과로 여겨진다.
