올해 20회를 맞이하는 ‘2024 국제전기전력전시회’는 한국전기기술인협회가 주최하고 산업통상자원부 등이 후원하는 국내 최대 전기전력 산업 전시회다.

특히, 올해는 탄소중립을 실현하기 위한 전기전력 신기술/신제품은 물론 온실가스 배출이 없는 신재생에너지와 전기자동차 핵심기술/제품을 선보이고 스마트에너지를 구현하는 다양한 솔루션과 해외 바이어 수출 상담회, 전기전력산업 채용발람회 등의 부대행사가 진행된다.

한전KDN은 이번 전시회에 ▲배전자동화용 단말장치 ▲배전자동화용 통신중계장치 ▲재생에너지 감시제어장치 ▲SG(Smart Grid) 기기 보안인증 시스템 등 총 4종의 솔루션을 출품했다.

‘배전자동화용 단말장치’는 배전자동화 시스템 원격 운영의 핵심 구성요소인 배전선로 데이터 취득과 개폐기 감시/제어를 담당하는 것으로 기존 장치에 보안기술을 추가 적용했으며 TCP/IP 통신기능 추가, 파일전송 속도를 향상시켜 현재 한국전력공사가 운영하는 배전자동화 시스템 현장에 안정적인 전력공급과 최고의 전력품질을 선도하는 역할을 하고 있다.

‘배전자동화용 통신중계장치(AWB/PLC)는 광통신 케이블 포설이 불가한 지역의 통신음영 문제점 해소와 배전분야 현장감시를 위한 통신중계장치로 가공선로용 무선통신 중계장치와 지중선로용 PLC 통신중계장치로 구분하여 개발됐으며 다양한 배전환경에 대한 실증 완료와 한전KDN의 배전분야 기저사업 확대에 적용하여 운영 중이다.

‘재생에너지 감시제어장치’는 신재생에너지의 전력 계통에 대한 안정적 연계와 분산형전원으로 인한 선로의 전력품질 저하 문제를 해결하기 위한 것으로 설치의 용이성과 경제성을 개선하여 전기의 품질 관리에 기여하고 전력 불균형으로 인한 블랙아웃 등 사고의 사전 예방을 도와준다.

‘SG(Smart Grid) 기기 보안인증 시스템’은 지능형전력망에서 운영되는 기기들인 지능형 전력량계(AMI, Advanced Metering Infrastructure), 배전, 전기자동차(EV, Electric Vehicle) 등에 대한 보안서비스를 제공한다.

한전KDN은 2018년 한전에 자료수집처리장치(FEP, Front End Processor)서버와 데이터 집중장치(DCU, Data Concentration Unit), 모뎀에 관련 시스템을 도입하였고 2021년 EV충전기용 시스템 구축과 2022년에 고압 원격검침(AMR, Automatic Meter Reading) 설비 인증시스템 구축 등 안전한 전력통신 지원 사업을 수행하였으며 향후 스마트계량기 1,500만대 구축 사업으로 영역 확장을 추진하고 있다.
