전남도는 향후 글로컬대응TF를 본격 가동하고 본지정을 위한 총괄체계를 운영할 방침이다. 또 각 대학에 분야별 연계사업을 제공함으로써 대학 혁신계획과 지역의 산업 육성 및 대학 지원이 입체적으로 연결된 완성도 높은 실행계획서를 함께 만들 계획이다.

실행계획서 제출 이후에도 대면평가 준비와 함께 정부, 국회 등을 대상으로 적극적인 건의 활동을 통해 두 대학이 모두 글로컬대학으로 지정받는 쾌거를 거두도록 총력을 다해 지원할 예정이다.
