(무안=브레이크뉴스) 이학수 기자=전남도는 17일 완도 청해진스포츠센터에서 전국 수산인 한마당 행사인 제13회 수산인의 날 기념행사가 개최됐다고 밝혔다.

해양수산부는 2012년부터 수산업과 어촌의 소중함을 알리고 수산인의 긍지와 자부심을 고취하기 위해 매년 4월 1일을 ‘수산인의 날’로 정하고 기념식을 개최하고 있다.

올해는 제22대 국회의원 선거 일정을 고려해 행사가 늦어졌다. ‘열린 어촌, 젊은 발걸음, 새로운 수산강국’이라는 주제로 열린 이번 행사에는 김영록 전남도지사, 강도형 해양수산부 장관, 신우철 완도군수, 노동진 한국수산산업총연합회장(수협중앙회장), 박상욱 한국수산업경영인중앙회장 등 전국 수산인 1천500명이 참석한 가운데 수산인과 수산업계의 노고, 그동안의 성과를 격려했다.
