전남교육 구성원들의 참여를 통해 전남교육의 정체성을 확립하고 가치를 제고하기 위해 마련된 이번 공모전은 청소년과 성인 부문으로 나뉘어 진행된다.

전남 소재 학교의 소속 학생과 학교밖 청소년은 청소년 부문에 참여할 수 있으며, 전남교육청 소속 교직원을 비롯해 학부모, 도민은 누구나 성인 부문에 참여 가능하다.

작품은 15자 이내 짧고 간결한 창작 문구여야 하며, 국․영문 혼용은 가능하다. 전남교육통 누리집에서 접수중이다.

특히 이번 공모전은 디자인을 포함해 진행되는 일반적인 ‘BI 공모전’과는 달리 디자인 과정을 제외해 참여 문턱을 낮췄다.

어린이부터 성인까지, 전공자가 아니어도 누구나 참여할 수 있어 전남교육청의 비전인 ‘함께 여는 미래’의 가치를 잘 담았다는 평가를 받고 있다.

전남교육청은 상징성, 창의성, 명확성, 대중성을 기준으로 심사위원단의 평가를 거친 후 대국민 참여 평가를 통해 최종안을 결정할 예정이다.
