전남도교육청은 교육부․전남도와 공동으로 5월 29일부터 6월 2일까지 5일 간 여수세계박람회장 일원에서 개최하는 대한민국 글로컬 미래교육박람회장에 이번 행사의 핵심 콘텐츠인 ‘글로컬 미래교실’을 운영한다고 밝혔다.

‘글로컬 미래교실’에는 박람회 기간 초․중․고 학교급별 1일 4시간씩 3일간 36시간의 실제 수업이 열리며, 유치원 과정은 별도 구성된다.

미래교실의 모델을 제시하는 만큼, 예체능을 포함해 모든 교과목이 고르게 편성되도록 시간표를 짜고, 각 과목의 특징을 반영한 프로젝트 학습도 12시간 운영된다.

프로젝트 학습이란 박람회 미래교실 현장과 해외 현지 교실을 연결한 온라인 교류 수업, 인공지능(AI)을 활용한 독서토론, 디바이스 기반의 과학수업, 로봇활용 놀이 수업 등 다양하게 선보인다.

‘글로컬 미래교실’ 수업 중에는 해당 모형에 대한 설명이 관람객들에게 실시간으로 제공된다.
