전남도는 4일(현지 시간) 사우디 수도 리야드에서 전남 에너지기업과 사우디 트와이크 그룹, PEDCO사를 비롯한 기업인 등 100여 명이 참석한 가운데 ‘KOR-KSA 에너지위크’ 행사를 가졌다.

에너지위크 행사에는 김영록 전남도지사와 박준용 주사우디대한민국 대사, 김두식 리야드 코트라 무역관장, 양국 기업인 등 주요 인사가 참석했다.

두바이, 우즈베키스탄, 베트남 등 해외시장을 꾸준히 두드려온 전남재생에너지연합(태양광·열·통신·마이크로그리드·행정) 기업이 참여해 사우디 기업이 설계 중인 미래 스마트 도시 사업 참여 협약을 했다. 전남재생에너지연합에는 ㈜솔라드림, ㈜에스엠팜건설, ㈜티디엘, ㈜금철이노베이션, ㈜그린이엔에스 등이 참여하고 있다.
