13일 오후 해남 우슬체육관에서 열린 도민과의 대화에는 김영록 지사와 명현관 해남군수, 전남도의회 김성일·박성재 도의원, 김석순 해남군의회 의장, 배승관 해남경찰서장, 최진석 해남소방서장, 이자영 해남교육장, 윤종기 해남군 노인회장과 해남군민 등 250여 명이 온·오프라인을 통해 참여했다.

김영록 지사는 인사말을 통해 “친환경농업 1번지인 해남에 해상풍력과 글로벌데이터센터 등 첨단산업 기반을 조성해 미래형 최첨단 스마트시티를 조성하겠다”며 “해남은 아름답고 청정한 자연환경과 유서 깊은 역사문화자원, 건강하고 맛깔난 음식 등 매력 넘치는 관광자원을 다수 보유하고 있고, 최근 오시아노 관광단지 활성화와 함께 서남해안 관광거점으로 발돋움하고 있다”고 강조했다.

이날 도민과의 대화에서 김영록 지사는 해남을 스마트도시로 조성하기 위한 구체적 비전을 제시했다.

전남도와 해남군은 오는 2025년까지 김치 원료 공급단지를 해남에 조성하고, 이듬해인 2026년까지 대한민국 농업 분야 기후변화 대응 컨트롤타워 역할을 할 농식품 기후변화대응센터를 해남에 조성할 방침이다. 또 2025년까지 해남 화원산단에 해상풍력 배후단지를 조성해 국내 최대 해상풍력 산업 클러스터로 육성하고, 솔라시도를 첨단 생태·에너지·관광레저 거점도시로 육성한다는 계획이다.

김영록 지사는 “해남서 추진 중인 대규모 전략산업은 전남의 미래 100년을 책임질 최첨단 산업기반이 될 것”이라고 내다봤다.

도민과의 대화에서 해남군과 군민들의 지원 요청도 잇따랐다. 해남군은 금강산 일대 명품 숲길 조성을 위해 도비 5억 원 지원을 건의했다. 금강산 명품둘레길 조성사업은 체험·체류형 관광을 위해 이미 조성된 임도 30㎞ 구간에 트레킹 테마 공간 등을 조성하는 사업이다.
