‘이제는 지방시대’라는 슬로건으로 열리는 이번 엑스포는 대통령직속 지방시대위원회와 행정안전부, 산업통상자원부, 국토교통부 등 중앙부처와 17개 광역시·도, 교육청이 공동 주최하는 국내 최대 규모 정책 행사다.

2일 진행되는 ‘2023 지방자치·균형발전의 날 기념식’에는 지방시대위원장, 관계부처 장관, 김영록 전남도지사를 비롯한 시·도지사 등이 참석한다.

이번 행사에서는 17개 시·도의 전통 문화와 멋스럼으로 꾸며진 아트월을 비교해보며 관람의 재미를 더할 수 있다. 전남도는 지역 대표 전통주와 나주의 천연염색공예를 활용해 남도의 맛과 멋을 구현했다.
