지난 2021년 9월 15일 첫 차 생산을 시작으로 2021년 1만2000여 대, 2022년 5만여 대에 이어 올해 10월10일 기준 3만8000여 대를 생산, 약 2년여 만에 누적 생산 10만대를 달성했다.

이날 기념식에는 강기정 시장을 비롯해 박광태 글로벌모터스 대표이사, 정무창 시의회의장, 박병규 광산구청장, 이상익 함평군수, 김나윤 시의원, 유원하 현대차 본부장, 글로벌모터스 사외이사 및 임직원 등이 참석했다.
