전남대는 지난 4일부터 13일까지 중국 동북 3성에 있는 주요 대학들을 방문해 새로 업무협약을 체결하거나, 학술 및 학생 교류 활성화, 우수 유학생 유치 등 상호관심사에 대해 논의했다.

특히, 중국 동북지역 최고 명문대학인 길림대학을 비롯해 동북사범대학, 길림외국어대학과는 학부 및 대학원의 복수/공동학위 개설, 단기 프로그램 확대 및 학술·문화교류 활성화 방안을 협의했다.

또, 중국 대학 랭킹 20위권으로 요녕성을 대표하는 동북대학과는 새로 업무협약을 맺고, 학술문화교류 확대, 중외합작 및 각 대학의 중점 전공 분야를 중심으로 한 복수학위제 추진방안을 강구하기로 했다.
