(무안=브레이크뉴스) 이학수 기자=전남도교육청은 지난 20일 화순 하니움문화스포츠센터 적벽실에서 ‘학부모 학교교육 참여 활성화를 위한 학교 관리자 인식 개선’ 주제 연수를 실시했다.

도내 유·초·중·고·특수학교 교(원)장 550여 명을 대상으로 실시한 이번 연수는 △ 학교 관리자 인식개선 연수 △ 힐링 콘서트 △ 나주 학부모회연합회 활동 사례 소개 △ 소통의 시간 순으로 진행됐다.

김 란 교장(남악초등학교)은 특강을 통해 “학부모는 학교가 하는 일에 무조건 따르는 교육의 수혜자도, 학교의 미흡한 부분을 지적하고 항의하는 민원인, 감시자가 아니다”며 “우리 아이들의 배움과 성장을 돕는 교육의 주체자이자 동반자”라는 메시지를 전해 참석자들의 큰 호응을 받았다.

이희진 전남학부모회연합회장은 “학부모와 교사는 서로를 이해하고 존중하며, 전남교육의 미래를 위해 함께 나아 가야 할 존재이다. 오늘 연수는 서로의 마음을 확인하는 뜻깊은 자리였다.”고 소감을 밝혔다.

김대중 전남교육감은 “학부모 학교 교육 참여 활성화를 위해서는 학부모와 학교 관리자 서로를 바라보는 시선이 바뀌어야 한다.”며 “교육공동체 구성원 모두가 전남교육의 발전을 위해 함께해 주길 바란다.”고 말했다.
