(보성=브레이크뉴스) 이학수 기자=전남 보성군 조성면은 지난 19일 동절기를 앞두고 저소득 취약계층의 따뜻한 겨울나기를 위해‘사랑의 연탄 나눔 봉사’를 실천했다고 밝혔다.

이날 연탄 봉사활동은 (사)따뜻한한반도사랑연탄나눔운동 보성군지부주관으로 조성면 이장단, 의용소방대, 복지기동대, 희망드림협의체, 직원 등 30여 명이 함께 참여해 취약계층에 연탄을 직접 배달했다.

이번 활동으로 난방비 부담이 큰 저소득 가구 중 연탄에 의존하는 7가구에가구당 300장씩 총 2,100장의 연탄이 전달됐다.

정인숙 조성면장은“추운 겨울을 이겨낼 수 있는 따뜻한 조성면을 만들기 위해 최선을 다하겠다.”라며“따뜻한 이웃사랑 실천에 같이 힘써주신 봉사자들에게 감사의 말씀을 드린다.”라고 말했다.
