(완도=브레이크뉴스) 이학수 기자=전남 완도군에서 2년 연속 유치한 ‘전남 정원 페스티벌’이 올해는 완도만의 정원문화를 정착시켰다는 호평을 얻으며 7개월간의 여정을 마치고 지난 17일 막을 내렸다.

전시 기간도 한 달 연장되어 7개월 동안 약 44만 명이 방문한 것으로 파악됐다.

기존 해변공원 화단을 리모델링하여 ‘난대림 속에서 차 한잔을 마시며 쉼이 있는 치유’를 주제로 한 ‘트리 티 하우스’, ‘작가 정원’, 아기자기한 나만의 집 ‘타이니 하우스’ 등을 찾는 발길이 끊이질 않았다.

페스티벌 기간 동안 장보고수산물축제와 전남 생활체육 대축전 등 지역의 행사와 연계함으로써 지역 활력 제고 및 관광 활성화에도 이바지했다.
