(무안=브레이크뉴스) 이학수 기자=전남도교육청이 ‘2024년 시도교육청 평가’에서 ‘최우수교육청’으로 선정됐다.

전국 17개 시도교육청을 대상으로 진행한 이번 평가는 ▲ 국가 교육·돌봄 책임 강화 ▲ 교육의 디지털 전환 ▲ 모두를 위한 맞춤형 교육 지원 ▲ 안전하고 건강한 교육환경 조성 등 20개 지표를 토대로 이뤄졌다.

전남교육청은 20개 평가 항목 중 시범지표 2개를 제외한 18개 지표 모두에서 ‘최우수’ 등급을 받았다. 특히 ▲ 늘봄학교 지원 강화 ▲ 고교학점제 단계적 이행 ▲ 직업교육 경쟁력 강화 등의 세부 지표는 기준값을 상회하는 높은 점수를 받았다.

전남교육청은 최우수교육청에 선정됨에 따라 재정 인센티브를 받게 되며 교육정책에 투자할 계획이다.

김대중 전남교육감은 “이번 평가 결과는 교육가족 모두가 역량을 모아 노력한 결과다. 앞으로도 내실 있는 교육정책 추진으로 탄탄한 전남교육을 실현하고, 학생들의 성장을 지원하는 데 최선을 다 하겠다.”고 말했다.
