간담회는 김영록 전남도지사와 한국전력공사 등 이전 공공기관장, 나주시장, 한국에너지공과대학 총장(교무처장) 등 20여 명이 참석한 가운데 상생협력 방안 등을 논의했다.

전남도는 이전 공공기관에 수도권 공공기관 2차 이전 및 부속기관 유치, 지역 인재 채용 확대, 지역 물품 우선 구매, 지역 공헌사업(지역인재 육성을 위한 장학금 등), 글로벌 에너지 대전환 선도사업 등 현안사업이 원활히 추진되도록 각별한 관심과 협조를 부탁했다.

김영록 지사는 “이전 공공기관과 상생협력 간담회를 통해 혁신도시를 활성화하기 위한 공공기관의 의견을 적극 반영하고, 상생 협력체계를 확고히 다지겠다”며 “혁신도시가 5만 자족도시를 넘어 시군 지자체의 성장을 지원하는 거점도시 역할을 하고 명품도시로서 세계 속으로 힘차게 도약하도록 더욱 힘쓰겠다”고 말했다.
