(무안=브레이크뉴스) 이학수 기자=김영록 전남도지사가 23일 ‘1일 명예 경기도지사’로 활동하며, 경기도 학교급식에 전남 친환경농산물 공급 확대, 신재생에너지 활성화, 고향사랑 기부 등 두 도의 실질적 상생협력 방안을 마련하고 우의를 다졌다.

김영록 지사의 1일 명예 경기도지사 활동은 지난 2022년 상생협약 이후 에너지산업, 농어업 등 다양한 분야에서 협력해온 두 도 간 상생발전을 한층 강화하기 위해 김동연 경기도지사가 초대해 이뤄졌다.

이날 오전 환담장에서 김동연 지사가 환영의 뜻을 밝히자, 김영록 지사는 두 지역의 과거 역사적 연결과 현재의 관계, 미래 상생발전 등을 화두로 답례했다. 김영록 지사는 “전남과 경기는 고대 마한지역에서 출발해 역사적 뿌리가 같고, 조선 후기 실학을 집대성한 다산 정약용 선생의 정신을 계승·발전시키고 있다”고 말했다.
