설명회는 지난해 12월 확정된 남부권 광역관광개발계획의 기본구상부터 개발계획 확정까지 문화체육관광부의 연구용역을 총괄·수행한 한국문화관광연구원의 박경열 기획조정실장과 진흥사업 용역을 총괄한 한국관광개발연구원의 전미숙 실장 등 연구진을 강사로 초청해 진행된다.
