앞서 광주시는 강 시장의 난방비 긴급 지원 주문에 따라 취약계층·어린이집·복지시설·5세 이하 영유아 양육가정 등에 난방비를 지급하는 내용의 지원대책을 발표했다.

이날 정책소풍은 이 같은 단기 대책에 이어 에너지복지 중장기 대책 중 하나로 에너지 절감 효과가 커 실질적 도움이 되는 그린리모델링 사업을 점검하고, 제로에너지·녹색건축물 관련 추진 방향 등에 대해 논의하는 자리로 마련됐다.

참석자들은 “겨울 난방비와 여름 냉방비는 건물의 단열 상태에 따라 크게 달라진다”며 “에너지 비용 지원에 더해 그린리모델링과 같은 중장기 대책을 마련해 근본적 해결에 나서야 한다”고 한목소리를 냈다.
