전남도는 13일 도청 왕인실에서 ‘2022 전라남도 일자리․경제․투자유치 한마당’ 행사를 열어 올 한 해 성과를 공유하면서 도민이 행복한 으뜸 일자리 창출을 위해 시군과 협력을 강화하기로 했다.

한마당 행사에는 김영록 전남도지사, 김태균 전남도의회 부의장, 정기명 여수시장, 정인화 광양시장, 이병노 담양군수, 김성 장흥군수, 명현관 해남군수, 우승희 영암군수, 김산 무안군수, 강종만 영광군수, 일자리 우수기업 대표, 일자리․경제․투자유치 유공자 등 70여 명이 참석했다.

전남도는 이 자리에서 도민이 행복한 으뜸 일자리 40만 개 창출을 위한 민선8기 일자리 창출 추진전략으로 ▲산업 전환에 대응하는 미래 첨단․전략산업 중심의 일자리 창출 ▲지역 위기에 대응하는 전남형 일자리 혁신 ▲중앙-광역-기초 협력을 통한 초광역 일자리 창출 ▲고용서비스 고도화를 통한 도민 행복 일자리 확대 등 4대 전략 10대 추진과제를 발표했다.

또한 지역일자리 창출이 지방 위기 대응의 출발점이라는 인식하에 일자리 창출 효과를 극대화하도록 중앙정부-전남도-시군 간 협력 지원과 시군별 일자리 종합계획 수립 및 목표 달성을 위해 상호 실천협약을 했다. 이는 2022년 전국 자치단체 일자리 대상에서 대통령상을 받은 전남도가 일자리정책 등을 더욱 강화하기 위한 것이다.
