광주광역시 소방안전본부가 운영중인 인터넷 홈페이지 관리가 제대로 이뤄지지 않아 방문객들의 눈살을 찌푸리게 하고 있다.

26일 시 소방안전본부 홈페이지에 있는 번호로 북부소방서 동림119안전센터로 전화를 걸었지만, 엉뚱한 데였다.

이날 오후 6시40분쯤 광주시 북구 동림동 한 아파트 전세대에 화재 경보가 울리면서 집안에 있던 주민 수백 명가량이 건물 밖으로 긴급 대피하는 소동이 벌어졌다.

화재 경보가 울리면서 일부 주민들이 홈페이지에 있는 동림119안전센터로 전화를 걸었지만 엉뚱하게 119특수구조대와 연결됐다.

이 전화번호는 지난 3월 변경됐으나 수개월 째 그대로 방치된 것으로 확인됐다. 당시 전화번호는 동림119안전센터를 비롯 5곳의 119안전센터가 변경됐다.

시민 김모(45) 씨는 “시민들이 자주 이용하는 119안전센터 전화번호가 변경 된 지 수개월째 방치돼 관공서 홈페이지가 무용지물이 되고 있다”고 비판했다.

특히 시 소방안전본부는 본지가 취재에 들어가자 홈페이지 관리에 문제가 있는 것으로 파악한 것으로 확인됐다.

시 소방안전본부 관계자는 “홈페이지 관리에 문제가 있는지 파악하지 못했다. 언론사 취재 후 문제점이 있다는 것이 확인 돼 해당 부서에 개선하도록 조치했다”고 말했다.
