이들 빅테크 기업은 지난 3월29일 광주실감콘텐츠큐브에서 열린 광주 미래차 비전 선포식에서 기조연설자로 참여하는 등 지역 자동차산업과 인연을 이어가고 있다.

지난 23일(현지시간) 김 부시장 등 광주시 대표단은 구글 시애틀지사를 찾아 인공지능 연구자들과 정책간담회를 가진 후 근무여건 등을 살펴보기 위해 사무실을 둘러봤다.
