광주은행은 20일 광주 북구의 대표 전통시장인 말바우시장을 찾아 ‘찾아가는 복합지원 현장상담’을 운영하고, 소상공인의 경영 애로 해소와 금융 안전망 강화를 위한 지역밀착형 맞춤형 지원 활동을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

이번 지원 활동은 광주은행 포용금융센터를 비롯해 광주광역시, 서민금융진흥원 등 유관기관이 함께 참여해 현장에서 직접 금융·경영 지원 서비스를 제공하는 방식으로 진행됐다.

이날 현장에서는 평소 점포를 비우기 힘든 전통시장 상인 200여 명을 대상으로 ▲매출 증대 전략 및 점포 운영 노하우 등 소상공인 경영컨설팅 ▲고금리 시대 금융 부담 완화를 위한 맞춤형 금융·고용·복지 복합지원상담 및 대출 안내 등이 이뤄졌다.

특히 형식적인 상담에서 벗어나 현장 중심의 실무형 상담을 통해 상인들의 실제 경영 고민을 함께 나누고, 즉각적이고 실질적인 해결 방안을 제시해 시장 상인들로부터 큰 호응을 얻었다.

광주은행 포용금융센터와 참여기관들은 이번 말바우시장 지원 활동을 시작으로 지역 내 주요 전통시장 및 소상공인 밀집 지역을 순회하며 ‘찾아가는 복합 지원 현장상담’을 지속적으로 확대 운영할 계획이다.

한편, 광주은행 포용금융센터의 ‘소상공인 경영컨설팅’ 사업은 지난 2월 누적 상담 1,000건을 돌파하며 지역 밀착형 금융지원의 대표적인 성공 사례로 자리 잡았다. 센터는 실제 경영 현장에서 겪는 애로사항을 반영해 ▲마케팅 ▲경영진단 ▲전문분야(세무·법률) ▲점포운영 등 총 4개 전문 분야에서 맞춤형 무료 지원을 실시하고 있다.
