(무안=브레이크뉴스) 이학수 기자=전라남도가 2026여수세계섬박람회 주행사장인 진모지구 일대의 물고임 현상과 관련해 긴급 정비에 나선다.

전남도는 지난 12일 일부 언론에서 제기한 ‘진모지구 침수 우려’ 보도와 관련해 현장을 확인한 결과, 해당 현상은 주행사장 연결도로 일부 침하 구간에서 발생한 일시적인 물고임으로 파악됐다고 밝혔다.

전남도에 따르면, 물고임이 발생한 구간은 연약지반이라는 지형적 특성상 부분적인 침하가 발생해 빗물이 일시적으로 고인 것으로 확인됐다.

이에 앞서 전남도는 지난 4월 관련 보도 이후 여수시, 2026여수세계섬박람회 조직위원회와 합동 점검을 실시했으며, 배수시설 운영 상태와 도로 관리 상황 전반을 종합적으로 검토했다.
