(나주=브레이크뉴스) 이학수 기자=전남바이오진흥원(해양바이오본부)이 완도군의 풍부한 해양수산 자원을 활용해 미래 먹거리 산업인 ‘블루푸드테크’ 육성과 청년 창업 생태계 조성에 본격적으로 나선다.

전남바이오진흥원은 오는 5월 7일까지 ‘2026년 청년 블루푸드테크 패키지 지원사업’에 참여할 예비창업자 및 기업을 모집한다고 밝혔다. 완도군이 지원하고 진흥원이 수행하는 이번 사업은 해조류 등 지역 특화 자원을 식품·소재·기술과 융합해 고부가가치 산업으로 발전시키기 위해 마련됐다.

이번 사업의 총 지원 규모는 4억 8,600만 원으로, 예비창업자부터 스타트업, 유망기업까지 약 16개사 내외를 선정해 성장 단계별 맞춤형 프로그램을 제공한다.

주요 지원 내용은 ▲창업 아이템 발굴 및 교육 ▲제품 개발 및 고급화 ▲기술 컨설팅 및 인증 지원 ▲홍보·마케팅 ▲투자 IR 및 투자포럼 등이다. 특히 창업 초기 단계부터 사업화, 투자 유치에 이르기까지 전주기를 지원하는 밀착형 체계를 갖춘 것이 특징이다.

신청 대상은 해양수산 특화 자원을 활용한 블루푸드테크 분야의 예비창업자 또는 완도군 소재(이전 예정 포함) 기업이다. 최종 선정된 대상자는 협약 기간 내에 완도군 관내에서 창업 또는 사업화를 이행해야 한다.

접수는 4월 13일부터 시작되어 5월 7일 오후 3시에 마감된다. 이메일, 방문, 우편 접수가 모두 가능하며 서류 검토와 현장 실사, 발표 평가를 거쳐 5월 말 최종 주인공이 가려진다.
